New Monsoon will begin touring in January 2008 with its new bass player, Marshall Harrell. Hailing from Portland, OR, Marshall previously toured very successfully with New Monsoon in November of 2006.

Marshall returns to replace Ron Johnson. Initially planning to fill in for the early months of 2007, Johnson ended up touring with New Monsoon throughout the year, which saw much success and growth for the band. The last performances for Ron with New Monsoon will be on Jamcruise V.

Marshall will debut at Ski Jam on January 12th in Steamboat, CO. The band is very excited about the musical possibilities in 2008. After Ski Jam, the tour will continue through Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, and a headlining show in San Francisco at the Fillmore Auditorium on February 9th.
